For parents: In the first section both chapters are for parents. The first contains many short sheets with information about common diseases in children. The other chapter explains what you can expect from a visit to the paediatrician.
For doctors: The second section is about paediatrics, the health care for children as pratised by GP's and paediatricians. It starts with the patient's dossier (notes). There is a chapter (in Dutch) with common diseases (symptoms, investigation, treatment, differential diagnosis), one with guidelines for investigation and treatment for general paediatrics and one for neonatology (both in English). Both these guidelines are in use in Dr.Gray's Hospital of the Grampian University Hospitals.
